World Wide Petition Against Trudeau’s Overseas Funding of Abortion

When the Trudeau government announced that abortion funding would be “the core of Canada’s foreign policy”, and then announced a grant of $650 million to fund abortions in foreign countries, particularly Africa (see article above), REAL Women of Canada joined with the World Congress of Families (WCF) to draft an international petition against these policies. The petition requested that, instead of abortion funding, Canada must direct foreign aid to Africa to address the real needs of the poor in Africa, such as clean water and maternal health care. The petition was distributed internationally by CitizenGo, a community of active citizens who work together, using online petitions and action alerts as a resource to defend and promote life, family, and liberty. Using their online petition platform REAL Women of Canada and WCF can send a copy of the petition to Prime Minister Trudeau with every signature. In just four weeks, 12,690 people have signed the petition from around the world. Signatures come from: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, United Kingdom and USA. The petition is still open.
